Hope you feel a bit brighter this morning and all goes well today SC. Not so much motivation with me as keeping moving to stay ahead of the black dog.

I must be getting better as I want to try a run - but I'm not sure if I'm ready and really don't want to set myself back. Peak flow hasn't risen for a few days, have finished steroids and antibiotics, main limiting factor feels to be the pulled muscle though I don't know how the cough/asthma combination will react if I try a run. Difficult.

What:           swim/steam/sauna
Why:            it occupies me and makes things feel better
Last hard:    getting better
Last rest:     I haven't run since NYD

    Thought I'd posted yesterday, but obviously not...
    Went to club night, was very cold.  Did 10 km in total with 6 x 200 sprint, 400 pace 200 recovery. 

    What: 1 mile
    Why: winter miles, summer smiles
    Last hard: keeping warm!

    I'm jealous Dustin. Thinking that I may need to run London just to raise some money for Alzheimer's again and find a later marathon to target for a time.

    I think this is the longest I haven't run fr since my accident and the way I feel at the moment I don't know when I'll be able to get back to it:-(

  • Thanks all. Pre-flight checks done and dusted so good to go at 08.00 next Tuesday! I get an extra hour on the table this time :-)
    Nice variety of days scheduled there. LMH I hope you recover with enough time to train. I think I'll be deferring my marathon to next year.

    What: gentle gym session, 2.5k run, glute stretches. Achilles ok but but back feels bruised for no apparent reason.
