Marathon Training Runs

Hi,
I've signed up for my 1st marathon which is in 10 weeks. I'm up at 18 miles and starting to think should take water with me for rest of my long runs. Took sports beans for the first time last week and felt a bit sick for the last mile, not sure if was them or dehydration. Whats the best / lightest belt or vest to use? Also any recommendations for gels/beans would great. All new to me as most ran is 1/2's and never needed water or gels when training for them.

    Sounds like you've been training your body to burn fat on your long runs by taking no carbs with you (and if you haven't bonked then that's all good)

    So I'd now do your next 4 long runs trying different methods of consuming carbs. Here are some examples but a quick Google would show many others.

    (Buy a hydration rucksack then)
    - Try one of the cheaper carb mix powders with water.
    - Mix blackcurrant and caffine gels with water.
    - Try some bananas with energy drink
    - flat coke
