That's a good point - it might be 22 degrees when I finish on Sunday !

It puts the UK marathon gender split as 66/34 in favour of men.  So if the GFA quotas are 3k per gender - either the men are royally screwed, or the women should be guaranteed if they hit their times ?

No idea how many GFA they accepted this year ?

Would it not be fairer to mini ballot all those who do so well to finish within GFA rather then move the goalposts even further

Think its the men are Royally Screwed - i know Abbot and Wanda are doing this World Championship event so the age categories had to reflect this but to create this equality balance when there are twice as many men running does seem a little unfair.
