pain upper part leg sartorius vs hernia

Hi
I am a 45 years old male and since the beginning of January I have a burning feeling at the upper part of my leg. The pain came after 2 runs of 8km each (I used to do regular running of 30-40 km/week), I did 3 ultrasound, 2 of which came negative and one show an inguinal hernia although I have no bulge or coughing impulse that suggest the presence of hernia. The radiologist who did the negative scans suggested it might be a strain of the Sartorius muscle, I have burning stinging pain under the skin starting at the outside of the bottom of the hip, traveling down the thigh to the inside of the knee. I am not running since mid of February but every time I do some easy walk the burning pain comes back. Any advice is much appreciated!

With thanks
