    Sorry to hear that Alehouse.

Well done for getting to circuits emzap.

    Enjoy the gym session chicksta.

    morning all
what - easy couple of miles and junior coaching
    why - recovery & routine
    last rest - 15/12
last hard - yesterday I guess: 5 steady lunchtime and 200s in the evening (not full out but hardly shuffling along either)
lyric - like LmH I think I should but perhaps too early...
  • Morning
Finally I seemed to have shaken off the issues I was having with tum not 100% but at least i can run.

What 8 miles with new shoes
Why: Because body she said yes
Last hard past week has been tough
    Lyrics : Yes
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Chicksta: Shame on me! Of course Aretha! With my large collection of Atlantic/Motown/Northern Soul I feel I have let everyone I know down.

SC: Thanks for the heads up on 7AM recommendation, I was mulling what might be best.

Did a gym session yesterday, for lunch I think a 6 or 7, got new trainers (same model always use just new) looking forward to the new shoes first time bouncy run.

    What: 6 or 7
Why: To experience a run like Neil Armstrong
Lyrics: Certainly do, and so does everybody else.
  • Spooky that Welsh, announcing new shoes at the same time.

    Morning!

Lyrics: no, despite what Benjy said

What: gentle walk and gentle exercise bike etc

Why: back will dictate and taking it easy until I've seen consultant

And those running marathons in less than a couple of weeks need to be taking it easy! Make sure you are fresh on the day!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Benjy :I so agree about new shoes bouncy run mine was a  a fab run shame we cant have new shoes everyday of the week;-) mine are also a new pair of a shoe I wear normally.
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.

Enjoy your respective nu shoos Poppy and Benjy :)

I did a bit on the treadmill and some core work this morning. Nice and easy. There's a "Re-Lates" lunchtime class at the new gym branch which I am planning on trying today. I tend to do the same exercises all the time if left to my on devices so it'll be nice to do strength and flexibility work in a new format.

Not long to taper now, LMH.

Enjoy yoga, wabo. Is this the daughter with SVT issues? Are there any news re. op?

Managed Pilates at lunchtime. It was actually Re-Lates some new fancy format but it was good. Always good to do something for core and back. Of course I was the least flexible person in there. Lots of uber-bendy types again :)

    Evening all,

Unable to run as got back from work at 8.30pm after a busy day, but did have the cycle back to help.

LMH: Studying at BPP Manchester, doing an integrated BPTC Course and Masters, so that should hopefully help boost the CV.

Lyrics: No, but I did know yesterday's lyrics, so that's something...
    Have a good day. image
