June Half Marathon

Hello all - just some advice really....

I have signed up for a half on 10  June, I was originally going to do the Bath Half which was cancelled then the Newport half which was also cancelled, I just wanted to make sure that I was doing enough training.

Each week I do a run, 4-5 miles, then another, 6-7 miles, then a long run, am at 9 miles at the moment, adding on a mile each week to the long run, at my pace I am looking to get in at around 2 hours 15 - 2 hours 20.

I just wanted to make sure I am doing enough??

Thanks

groder - yes, that's a good plan, just make sure you're not running at race pace for your long run.  Long runs need to be done a lot slower.  You could do the shortest distance in your weekly plan at your planned race pace.

Good luck with your race, if it's hot remember to slow down a little from your planned race pace.
