Starting to panic a bit, I’ve two more weeks of training until tapering starts for a marathon.
Recently I have had a tingling in my third toe and some small pain next to the ball of my foot.
This I thought was on the mend after a few days off.
However the last few runs all has been fine till a few Kms in and then I have had a stabbing pain in the second toe and a burning sensation in the ball of my foot. Also feels like something in my shoe. After a few Kms this disappears and I can continue the run.
What do I do? Or more importantly how do I fix it?
Run through it, or rest it?
