No idea I'm afraid Rob - I think that the effects of altitude training dissipate relatively quickly from an oxygen carrying perspective a quick Google provides lots of links.
Breezy here this morning and only a high of 21C forecast - I'll swap chicksta and Poppy!
What: easy miles Why: taper Last hard: working out what to do in the taper - one day I'll get there (I hope) Last rest: 4/5
Lyrics - a myriad of possibilities so that will be a no from me.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Morning all Sorry Rob, I don't think I'm experienced enough about altitude training to give a decent reply... Did I see Blisters pop in? What - not sure Why - have to collect some water bottles for our club race this evening so will miss training, hopefully can squeeze some lonely speed work in afterwards (I will) last rest - 12/05 last hard - 12, 10 and 10 hilly/trail runs this weekend
Blisters: Another blast from the past not seen since Henley 2013!
WP: You pack in some miles
What: In the pool at 0800 for 1.5K, club social run tonight Why: Time to get wet Last Hard; Just getting in the pool,
The good news is that in three swim sessions my 100m pace has fallen from 2.52mins to 2.25 mins, thats just a matter on concentrating on technique. Not sure I will ever get back to cruising along at 2mins / 100M but might well get to around 2.10 - 2.15 with some work.
Flying visit. Nice miles WP. Ale...gently does it. LMH hope you enjoy. Nice balance DD What: I'm with Dustin...club tonight but... Why: Lack of motivation/tapering for holiday :-) Last hard: Sunday Last Rest: Yesterday Lyrics: Unsure so no.
I'm hoping the weather will perk up for next week.
Do you have a date for your scans Alehouse?
Enjoy whatever you end up doing Dustin.
I think you may surprise yourself with the swimming DD.
Where are you off to next SC?
Not a great run for me. Slow, stomach issues and then one of those gut wrenching ankle turns where you can't even weight bear on it immediately afterwards. Managed to walk it off and then run the two miles home, have iced it and think it's ok...........
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Oh dear LMH - fingers crossed no harm done. +1 for stomach issues today
Nice miles again, poppy. Hubby is doing fine, thanks for asking. He hates the heat even more than I do. It was 24 degrees by 8am and it's now over 30 coupled with a strong easterly wind. Yikes.
Hope the short run goes well, ale.
Enjoy your respective club runs Dustin and SC.
What: only 6 miles Why: stomach issues and stitch Last hard: today Last rest: Sunday
