I've increased the volume of my running recently with lots of easy runs and my right shin is starting to ache at the front. Is this a shin splint? Am I fine to just keep running til it goes away?
I was running 3-4 times a week and I'm now running everyday, but I only added more easy runs. I want to run twice a day but I'm building up to that gradually and thought a high volume of easy runs would give me the resilience I need to begin with that. Since this pain started I've begin walking on uphill inclines and running on flat/downhill inclines only but I thought I might as well ask. If this isn't dangerous and will go away soon when I improve I'll just push through it

Why don't you start running 5 days a week then build up to 6, then 7?
Your shin bone will need time to adapt and remodel.
