Hi Guys
Has anyone had or know anyone who has had a meniscal transplant ?
After tearing my ACL in 2004 - My knee cartilage has been worn out with running. I'm only in my mid 30's but other than walking i'm struggling with any kind of impact activity and I sure as hell cant run without getting swelling.
From what I understand , running is possible after the surgery - but it's possible it could cause the transplant to fail after a period of time maybe....
Just wonder if anyone has gone through this as its still a fairly new procedure and it's gonna involve extensive rehab if I go down that route.
