    Why:             I feel bad for not going to the gym and think/hope my back will cope

    What - lunchtime training. Hoping to do 6 x 600s. Mojo may have waned by lunchtime (and be weather dependent...)
    Why - easy 6 yesterday so need a speed set

    Hope the short and easy plus gym combo help, LMH. Not such a big week, actually. I just happen to front load it a bit because of the weather. It's supposed to be wet and windy tomorrow so that'll be a short TM session at the most.

    Enjoy the 600s, Dustin. I'll probably do some tomorrow, legs permitting. Right now they're still a bit sore from Monday's deadlifts :s

    Ended up doing 11.5 miles in the end. Unintentional progression run. Legs a bit tired in the first half so I just took it easy but then they woke up I got into a good rhythm.
  • Good result Chicksta. Keep hold of that Mojo Dustin. LMH don't be too hard on yourself...difficult to work out with back problems. It is what it is. Club last night was interesting 10 x 400 with recoveries. Alternate anti-clockwise at 5k pace and clockwise at Mile...yeh..right. Ended up with 5 x 1.33 and 4 x 1.22 and a 1.25 last faster as HR was in the top zone for the previous speedier lap. Translate either of those to 5k or mile and I'd be very happy. Pleased after yesterday's 4.5 at lunchtime just to finish

    Sounds a tough day not long after a half marathon, SC!

    What: undecided, put possibly fitness suite plus run/walk

    Why: grumbling Achilles/calf region

    Take it easy, Chick! Your training is banked!

    Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    A slow, hard feeling run this morning - no idea why but there you go, miles in the bank.

  • SC: Great work on your race and fantastic news on no episode-yay I loved your photo reminded me of the weather at Lake V last year;-)

    Weight's for me 12 reps of each and hobble around supermarket and then knitting later.I will be glad when I can do core exercises again!

    My back is definitely improving thanks emzap, I could feel a difference when I got out of bed this morning, still not quite right but much better than it was.
