    Morning all

    Cycling first

Race 3 of my very short CX season was a trip to Wessex League, more bad luck wasn't enough to hide my poor skills in real CX conditions. I just couldn't cope well enough in the real mud with the front moving around the way it did. There were no crashes but it was close.

Although it has been fun I have decided to end my season at this point with a view to regrouping and racing cross on 2019.

I had hoped to ride the last National round and maybe Nationals but I don't have the time to train specifically and although fit I am too far from where I need to be skill wise.

Sometimes you need to be honest with yourself.

    Onwards to 2019

What: hour run d&d bike and gym pm
    Why: Monday happens every week
    Last hard: the weekend
    Last rest: 31st October
    Lyrics: no

I have been very much offline this weekend as I ran around the country.

My apologies for a lack of engagement.
  • Morning again!

Visions of you linking the new cat up to a computer to check its malfunctions, OH...

    What: 6.5k off road. Damp.

Why: what M73 wanted to do, and plenty for me, also. Now for a Gobi style rest day...i.e. no training for more than 24 hours.

Off to brave some shops as it should be relatively quiet on a Monday.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
