Monday 18th March 2019 - Look at these eyes, admit that you're killing me

Morning.

Lyrics - Look at these eyes, admit that you're killing me

Glad you are ok with your run Dustin. Hope everything is working ok today. I think we're in the 'not loving it' stage, nearly taper time for you.

We are forecast less wind this morning - but it's cold and there's heavy rain coming in <<sigh>>

What:            hopefully a LSR
Why:             didn't yeaterday/Ashby on Sunday/less than six weeks until London
Last hard:     last week was hard
Last rest:      27/1
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Yesterday's were the traditional and much recorded "Irish  eyes are smiling".

What: around 40 minutes with M73

Why: still not fully well/run in company/play it by ear etc

Forecast is good but looking out of the window clouds are banking up. Hope anything has gone through by 9:15, our appointed meet time.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning again!

    Legs ok, Dustin

What: 42 minutes largely off-road avoiding puddles

Why: how long M73 and I ran for! A bit of a struggle to be honest although the positive is that it was the longest since February 13th due to illness.

Weight: still the same as at the new year which doesn't of course tell the full story, meaning I have put back on the 4 or 5 pounds that I had lost.

And talking of weight loss, let us know how things are going, Alex! And BenjySCPammieDon et al.

    Good to see progress Alehouse.

    Enjoy the easy Dustin.

    From the run Gobi?

Weather definitely better here especially as the forecast heavy rain didn't materialise.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Afternoon!

All sounds good, OH! I was lucky with the weather on my run; has not stopped raining since I finished at 10 this morning. Not what was forecast...or needed!

LMH: whilst today was progress compared with the last four weeks, the first six weeks of the year saw two runs a week longer than today with far less effort. Frustrating, although I know there is nothing I can do about it apart from be patient and re-build slowly.

That doesn't look like my kind of course at all Gobi!

I know you were further forward Alehouse but at least it's looking as though you're able to build back up again now.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Well done yesterday, Dustin. That's a respectable time.

LMH: sorry to hear your run yesterday didn't go well. Hope today's was better.

Very frustrating, ale. I must admit that I was running much better in December/January too. No idea why other than the virus at the end of Jan. and my recent tooth issues. Still not giving up hope ;)

What: a 3 mile battle with the wind before I gave up and stretches
    Why: recovery
Last hard: getting warm again yesterday
    Last rest: 3/3
Lyrics: yes and I hope someone does ;)

Today's felt better b(as in less of a slog) but nothing in it pace wise chicksta. My running has gone downhill since Brass Half on 13th January.
