Morning all Looks set to be a stunning day today, clear blue skies and no wind first thing. Just as well: nights start drawing in from tomorrow! What - steady lunchtime Why - easing into the weekend last rest - Monday last hard - Tuesday lyric - possible
Should we do a house swap LMH? We have a heatwave forecasted for at least next week (up to 35 and high humidity). I can do without that. It will make it difficult to run at all for me as I need to be available for work early.
Have a good weekend everyone - camping, swimming and sharing with friends.
Very dark here at present but supposed to improve to about 17 or 18 and sunny later.
What: not sure! Legs will decide once I've got going.
Why: last night's faster work so whatever the run is today will be at an easy pace. Wasn't the greatest session yesterday: although trying to run faster couldn't get up to the speed of last week's parkrun over a much shorter distance. Probably running on legs that are a little more tired, which is fine.
Always find 21st June a bit depressing!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
I'm trying not to think of the implications Alehouse.
Big weekend planned Dustin?
Glad you had a better night emzap.
Just finished some work I needed to do so can get changed and head out for my run now. Fortunately the delay has meant that it's warmed up a little more
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Why: legs didn't feel too bad so did more than most Fridays. Well-wrapped up: 11 or 12 degrees and very windy. Thick grey cloud still: probably heading for Headingley and the cricket. Was thinking of Burnage parkrun tomorrow, OH, but it is still flooded around the back. Hope the swim is fun!

Similar forecast here, Hazel. Happy to send the heat to LMH and take ale's 12 degrees
What are you baking, LMH?
Managed another MLR, but it was a bit of work. Less hot today fortunately but still muggy. I'm now 4 weeks into base building and at this horrible stage in training where every run is a bit of an effort.

What does the swim trip involve OH?
What: short and easy/cleaning and baking
Why: me time/friend staying for the weekend
Last hard: that sleeping thing
Last rest: 14/6

Managed 2 walks yesterday
What: walk with a friend

Stretched a lot yesterday and drank water/ate bananas. Seemed to do the trick as only minor cramping in the night
Chick not meant to take anything when pregnant really apart from paracetamol. If it's still bad when I see the midwife next week, I'll mention it.
Hope you send some warmth her chick, good to balance it out!
Have a lovely day all
