Morning all :)

Em: that's brilliant kitchen news 👍👏

Thinking of wabo and Giselle 🙏

Yay! Another holiday double, LMH.

Continuing Ale's lyrics scheme today:

Mott the Hoople and the game of Life
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Will do my LSR today as tomorrow looks like a day of thunder and lightning which is a bit dodgy for running.

Enjoy your weekends, all :)

  • Morning.

No, just a sedate six miles with Mark yesterday chicksta.

Wet here again this morning but I feel the need to get out with the traveling ahead, will probably keep it very short though.

Great that you’ve been able to get straight emzap. How many weeks to go now?

    Thoughts with Wabo and family.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning

What: bar code scanning then finish sorting house
Why: giving back/can't cope with the mess any more!
Last hard: sleeping, I was starving so are something.  Fasting levels still really low this morning though.
    Lyrics: nope

Lmh you back home today? 8 weeks to go (in which time we need to do the hall and landing and replace the alarm which we learnt yesterday had burnt through the box, the last people hasn't serviced it for 14 years!)
    Chick stay safe!
    Wabo hope all is ok

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Yesterday's lyrics were Space Oddity, David Bowie (the first line after "Ground Control to Major Tom).

What: parkrun at a steady pace with a couple of ks before/after

Why: Saturday, and don't parkrun hard

    Things are coming together, Emz

You seem to have had a better week than your feared, LMH!

Hope LSR went to plan, Chick!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning

Great news regarding the kitchen emzap. Seems you have plenty to keep you occupied in the next weeks!

Next hill race is in a few weeks LMH, it was a bit of training for that. The down bit was very gentle so coffee and cake weren't shaken around much. Good travelling!

Hope the LSR went well Chicksta.

Gaah regarding yesterday's lyrics Ale.  Should have known them. Hope you had a nice parkrun.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

What: recovery 5 this evening with OH.
Why: things to do first and will wait for temps to fall
Last hard: looking at next week's forecast
    Last rest: 15.07.

    Lyrics: no

My bad, LMH. My pea brain forgot that it was raining and you missed yesterday's morning slot.

Only 8 weeks to go, em. Wow. Hope you had fun at parkrun :) And you too, ale.

    Sensible, poppy.

    Enjoy your miles later, Hazel.

Another 22 bagged. My legs were less tired towards the end than on last week's run but it had heated up considerably in the final hour so it felt somewhat harder. Same pace, same HR as last week though.

  • Wet parkrun
    It's Saturday
    Last hard: yesterday's fatigue
    Last rest: yesterday

    Afternoon!

    Well bagged, Chick!

Wet parkrun here also, OH. But probably not as wet as yours!

9.5k including 23:50 parkrun which seems to be around the current default not too much effort sort of time at present. Very humid and windy.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • I forget myself chicksta! Well done on the 22. I'm hoping to go long tomorrow but it will probably only be 20.

Tired from the travelling and shopping OH or have I missed something?

It wasn't as bad as it could have been Alehouse. I managed 55 hilly (for me) miles.

Sometimes it's best not to push it Poppy.

We had a really good journey home thanks Hazel. Hope it's cooled down for your run.

That's going to fly by emzap!

Just five miles for me this morning which just about saw me through the three hours in the car.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
