Sunday 24th November 2019 - Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band

Morning.

Lyrics - Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band

Nifty footwork OH!

We are forecast a dry, mild, still day so I'm hoping to take advantage of it with my first long run since York though it may be a MLR depending on how I feel and how flooded places are - we had quite a lot of rain yesterday/last night.

What:           lMLR or LSR
Why:            haven't run further than 14 miles since York
Last hard:    motivating myself to train rather than just run
Last rest:     18/11
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

  • Morning!

    Lyrics: yes

    Enjoy the longer run, LMH!

What: short run, long fitness suite

Why: ran quite hard yesterday and will run longer tomorrow.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Morning

What: 4,5 miles done and dusted/4 miles on the flat
    Why: Aberafan day
Last hard: Virus/getting out of bed
    Lyrics: Yes

Looking forward to running on the flat :)
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Heading out for swim,a a bit dreich here. Possibly run later.
Last hard: keeping ahead of Alette yesterday (finished 3s in front)
    Lyrics no
Reverse pivot turn on photo yesterday so neither of us going wrong way, AH.
  • Did you manage a longish run, LMH?

Fancy dance move, OH ;) and well done keeping ahead. We run around a marshal at our parkrun, he/she gets lots of high fives

Nice doubles, poppy today and Hazel yesterday.

Side planks are such a great exercise, Hazel. Keep at it. You'll be amazed how quickly you get stronger.

Chamolk, if you're lurking, how are you? Hope you're on the mend.

Another nasty day here weather-wise (cold, grey, windy). Really didn't fancy a run today on the flat paths around my house so I drove to the nearest woods and did a 2 hour run on hilly terrain. Covered about 13 miles and 1200 ft of climbing. Knees, shins, quads, feet are pretty buggered now but it was a welcome change of scenery.
  • Aberfan relived on one episode of "The Crown" - a sad day indeed!
  • 300m swim completed with 4 others, 2 human, 2 selkie.
  • Very sad OH but glad it is getting talked about.
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Afternoon!

Another one who was wondering if you collided OH and glad you didn't! Had to check on the selkies but from the context I guessed it was seals.

Had to look up Aberfan also but then familiar with the story.

Chicksta, not sure my left shoulder likes planking, bit crunchy and sore today.  Will be careful there. Nice hilly run, always nice to see something different.

What: 12.5 miles pre breakfast. Post breakfast 14.5 miles mtb trundle with OH
Why: this week's long run, getting OH out in the nice weather, won't be cycling weather soon.
    Last hard: 5@PMP.
    Last rest 18.11

    Lyrics: no
  • It's not cycling weather here for me already Hazel - my extremities get painfully cold no matter what I wear.

I did seventeen miles in the end chicksta. A little pushed for time as have to sort things for the C word:-(

    Nice double Poppy.

Lovely to have the company OH.

We are forecast heavy rain tomorrow Alehouse - hope you get better weather for your longer run.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Up and down local hill.
Foggy day made it very dark and gloomy at tail end of afternoon.
