Morning.
Lyrics - Woke up, the sun streaming in my room
Warm beach from palm December afternoon
I wish!
How long is it taking Erica each day OH?
I have antibiotics and an urgent referral to a more specialist dentist to extract the remains of the troublesome tooth (apparently the roots are the reason my dentist won't do it himself, some complication) though the appointment is likely to take weeks to come through. Hopefully the antib's will stop it hurting.
What: hoping for a LSR
Why: best opportunity this week though it's forecast to be cold and foggy
Last hard: sleeping (had to take more painkillers in the early hours)
Last rest: 8/12
Yesterday's lyrics - Fairy Tale Of New York - The Pogues.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Hazel - I normally feel a little more sluggish the few days after donating, so tend not to push things deliberately. If I had a major race the Sunday following a donation then I may think twice, but usually I'm restored to the full quota by then anyway.
Bob Graham - it wouldn't be for a record attempt. There are two strands: taking it "easier" over two days to delight & recce the route & terrain, and supporting one of my pals who had a go (failed) 2 years ago, and wants another crack at it (so support for a leg or two). Partly beer talking, partly we've been talking about for a while....
What - club night, pyramids
Why - on the schedule
Last rest - October
Last hard - Sunday
Have a good day people
Day 5 for Erica
May be slow today
Last hard: last night's cold solo 5k loop
Well at least it's dry here so far, lyrics no.
Hope tooth doesn't cause you too much grief LMH.
LMH poor you!!! Hope you can manage your run
OH what an achievement for Erica, slow is ok
hazel enjoy the group run
dustin enjoy the pyramids
What: something easy
why: think I also need antibiotics, just not right
last hard: yesterday am
last rest: 31/12/16
Cleo's show at her majesty's was just amazing, she has grown so much in the performance and now wants to do tap and jazz!!
These bugs seem to be lingering Wabo - MiL has been ill for more than a fortnight. Definitely on the mend now but still not right.
It's needing a lot of painkillers to manage it OH but other than that it's not too bad thanks. You did well to get out for yoour evening loop having already run with Erica.
That could be fun Dustin.
Where's Alehouse today?
A bit late, for me, I know...forgot to press the "post comment" button at around 7:20 to say I don't know the lyrics. More importantly, need a Lucas update from Emz!
Hope you are coping with the tooth, LMH (and it isn't too 2:30)!
A pain work-wise, Hazel!
That is a tough challenge, OH, not least on the track during an Orcadian winter.
They sound like more sensible BGR plans, Dustin!
And get well Wabo!
What: 4 k d&d, just. May well have resembled an ice rink in parts earlier.
Long stretch and strengthen later.
Why: made the first batch of mince pies instead of running earlier; Tuesday...and it will be the last Tuesday stretch and strengthen until the new year due to facility closures on Christmas and New Year's Eves.
Well done, Erica
Annoying re. power outage, Hazel. Can't you go for a run ? Delivery came, thank god.
Bravo, Cleo. She sounds awesome. Would love to see a pic but I understand if you'd rather not. It's difficult with kid's pictures on social media channels these days. Too many weirdos out there.
Careful on the ice, ale.
Bob Graham sounds like a superb adventure, Dustin.
What: 6 miles with a bit of MP and HMP in there
Why: a bit short of time and fancied some leg turnover.
Last hard: work - 3 more days!!
Last rest: 10/12
Lyrics: no but I'd love to Having said that it was a sunny day today and really warm at 13 degrees. It can stay that way through March if you ask me. Winter is much overrated.
Hope you managed to make use of the time Hazel. You definitely shouldn't be expected to make the time up - it's their fault.
Are you having a long xmas break chicksta? 13C sounds positively tropical.
What: 3.5 km run, walk, walk possibly another walk
Why: Christmas card delivery, coffee, catch up with friends, maybe carol's
Lyrics: nope
So heating engineer has replaced pump so fingers crossed that is now fixed.
Lucas seems better. Less unsettled anyway and slept a long time this afternoon so I got a lot done! Thanks for the thoughts
Lmh that is a bit annoying but hope antibiotics knock it on the head for the moment.
Wabo hope you're feeling better soon and well done Cleo. How old is she now?
Chick, I know what you mean about photos, I have some I'd love to share but I also know this is an open forum...
Have a lovely evening all
chicksta, I dont mind let me see what one I have
It's a shame we live in a world that makes us feel the need to be so cautious (I understand totally) - once it's out there there;s no taking it back - and we could rib Lucas something terrible in a few years time:-)
10.6 miles for me including 7 on track with Erica.
440m in sea after dark.
Badminton later
