Morning!
Lyrics: How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep...
What: short run
Why: tradition
Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you have a good day, and hope that Chick celebrated well yesterday.
Lyrics are lines two and three.
Back to sleep, hopefully!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Hope everyone manages to enjoy at least some of the day.
Did your boys let you get any sleep chamolk?
Good to hear that your back is feeling a bit better OH.
Did you get some more sleep Alehouse?
What: hopefully a run if not more walking
Why: not sure if the knee will behave
Last hard: not running for two days
Last rest: 24/12
Lyrics - yes.
What: parkwalk
Why: going with Lucas , hoping to make it a new family tradition
Last hard: yesterday's run, though this walk may hurt as I have a huge blister on my foot
Lyrics: of course
Have a lovely day all and enjoy your average 4000 calorie meal
Oh dear, not good about the blister emzap. Hope your walk isn't too painful.
Mark and I have been for a walk. My knee is still painful walking so I know I shouldn't run on it but I've given my legs a good going over with the foam roller and I've taped the knee and I'm tempted to give it a go..........or I may just be sensible and go for another walk whilst Mark runs:-(
I shan't get near 4000 calories for the day let alone a meal - I don't think I physically could! butternut squash and sage roulade with veg for my main course.
Rare yes for lyrics
No, didn't get any more sleep: had to be up early to put the sprouts on.
Hope you are all having a good day!
Only running present is the late Bruce Tulloh's book that details his run across the US in 1969: the book has been re-published to record the 50th anniversary of the run. LA to New York, 2,876 miles in 65 days anyone? Just the 44.25 miles per day. Bruce was a track runner really and the fact that he had never run more than 23 miles at any one time makes the feat seem even more amazing.
Back to the kitchen...
late pop in to wish you all all the best for the holiday period!
Am I the only one that sees 4000 calories as a challenge ?!
why - stretch the legs, beautiful sunny day out there
last rest - Saturday
last hard - Sunday’s trails
club xmas eve run yesterday: 8 trail miles featuring mud, streams, waterlogged fields and the odd hill. Ended up in the pub for a few lunchtime refreshments...
