  • Morning!

I tried to start the thread a couple of times first thing but it simply wouldn't post from my phone.

    Lyrics: yes

    What: short and easy probably

Why: working, and working for the rest of the week.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Didn't think about the weather Dustin - its another lovely day here today - not that I can really appreciate it as I'm currently chained to my desk.  Busy weekend again for you.

Could do with some decluttering here too - what are your / or Wabo's hourly rates?

Hope you can get out in the dry sometime today Wabo.

Good timing with the weather yesterday WP.

Didn't know such a thing as a soup maker exists LMH.  Might give almond milk a try as well. Alread mix water with milk for porridge.

    Nice pyramiding Chicksta.

Can imagine there won't be too much swimming going on with the sea like that OH.  Must make for a very invigorating run / walk though.

    Stupid phone Ale.

Have a nice afternoon - hoping to get out for my run in the daylight.

    Progression
  • I like the taste of the unsweetened almond Hazel and there's a new coconut and almond that is really nice too. Have you tried oat milk? That's often recommended, I've had the chocolate one but not the original.

Why do you not use your soup maker Poppy?

Hope you get better weather for your run Wabo.

Is it going to turn into a longer term booking Alehouse?
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

  • Afternoon!

Hope it is not going to turn into too long a term booking, LMH! Covering for someone who is off until who knows when!

Talking of the dark, managed to get away early so I could run whilst the sun was out...had gone a short distance and there was icy rain! Fortunately didn't last long. Nor did my run! Threw a few quicker sections in though as a pre-cursor, I hope, to a longer fartlek next week some time.

  • Still fairly windy but swam this morning (on the other side to yesterday's waves). Track shortly.
Was getting sea withdrawal symptoms  ;)
Last hard: getting up any speed
    Last rest: Monday
Lyrics: feel as if I should but no

Possibly heading to Switzerland to join my daughter for a weekend skiing in late February.
  • We have 2 soup makers in our house, the principal (Elspeth) and the backup (me)

  • Glad you were able to get your OW fix OH.

I thought you were wanting work Alehouse?
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • I would like a couple of days a week, LMH: four is too much!

Glad you enjoyed your swim, OH! Hope the track was wind behind!

re soup, it is a big pan then blender/food processor.

  • Busy day, just a quick post from me.

Yes to lyrics and 3 miles run at lunchtime in 14 degrees. Not very January like at all but I'm not complaining

It's a track, AH: headwind one side, tailwind other side; but you knew that!
    Schnell reps tonight.
4 layers on top and running tights!
  • Yes, I was only jesting, OH. Hope you got warm at some point! Just going for a gentle stroll...to the Oak.

    Evening

Lmh I presume you mean blood glucose? Yes I've had it checked a few times and it's back to normal now. Though I haven't used my monitor to check as I can bring myself to prick my fingers again!

What: warm up run then 20 mins of run up close to loop, efforts round loop then jog back.
    Why: club night.
Last hard: that. Efforts were meant to be at 5km pace, I forgot I'd had a baby and set off at 25 min 5km pace. After 2 I nearly died then realised I should be going at 30 min 5km pace...
    Lyrics: nope

Ale ditto soup maker here, pan and blender.

    Have a good evening all
