    Good progress chicksta - will you be looking at doing some specific training or just see how it goes for now?

    Ice creams a nice reward for the heather wading Els.  Hmm - there are plenty of people out there who are faster than me too ;) Have a lovely day on Hoy with Peter.  Don't envy you the midges - bit of wind might help.

    Nice to see you emzap - but would be even nicer of course to read you are finally feeling a lot better.

    What - Run Commute: Waterloo --> Wharf (about 5.6 miles)
    Why - fitting it in
    last rest - Last week
    last hard - today was "heavy legged" , accumulated tiredness over the week

    Dustin: You recovered really quickly from Covid. Thank god. That was speedy yesterday. 

    Emz: Oh no :(  about time you felt a bit better. What a nightmare. 

    2 miles is better than nothing, wabo

    Hazel: no specific plans. I'm still finding out what suits me and how far I can go. I'm hoping to build up to about half marathon distance slowly and then gradually start introducing speedier stuff.

    Perfect day for Hoy sunshine and light breeze so no midges. Walked across  the valley and then up the path to Old Man of Hoy. Now chilling in cafe before boat back.
