Another transport themed song. Yesterday's was Sloop John B, a traditional song recorded many times, eg The Beach Boys.

What: about half an hour

Why: easy day

Race or parkrun well anybody participating
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Marshalling today ...

    Not much running at present for me but hoping to increase gradually. Aqua walking/jogging, badminton and Pilates continuing.

    Running in the country with some friends, 9m, bit too fast for comfort!  Nice day though with only light showers. Followed by coffee and cake!

    What: vigorous housework, gentle gardening and 20 miles cycle
    Why: running rest day so varied cross training
    Last rest: 5.03.22
    Last hard: unexpected cake on the cycle  - a stall next to the route - not trying a couple more bits, the raspberry dream was delicious. Room for 2 x praline tart in the rucksack though.

    Wabo - well done for getting out. Its not 'only' 1.3 miles - it's 1.3 miles!!

    last hard - that was: going through the motions, box ticking blah de blah...
    Had thought about doing hills at the country park or soggy loops on the common, so killed 3 birds with one stone:
    5 miles out, 2 hilly loops on the park, big lap and little lap of the common, run back. 17 miles done!
