Yesterday's were ELO, Here's the news (I kinda thought news is also communication)

12 miles done at 5am. Super muggy and I was covered in flies. Pace was a joke but it's miles in the bank, right?

    Cooler here today with lots of cloud cover.

    12 miles at 5 am is indeed miles in the bank, Chick!

    No to lyrics and no to parkrun!

    What: 20 minutes easy, 2 X 3 minutes with 2 minutes jog recovery, then 15 minutes wobble down.

    Why: need to get some quicker stuff in my legs.
    Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Nice early start chicksta - flies are a pain.

    Good idea with the quicker bits Ale.

    Well done on the 2023 course PB Wabo - enjoy the BBQ.

    Coastal path looked nice yesterday Els - thanks for the pics - don't fall off it!

    Good to see you out on the water OH, sorry it wasn't all good though.

    No to parkrun and no to lyrics as well.

    Cake is baked but doesn't look pretty enough for a pic on here  :/ (baked strawberry cheesecake and has shrunk a bit on cooling)

    What: 11.5 miles local pre breakfast with a decent amount of downing and upping.
    Why: finish off the running week and couldn't be bothered to go anywhere else
    Last hard: some of the upping and also downing (trails)

    Evening

    So Tuesday morning went to the track for some easy miles. Wednesday a very hilly trail 10 km. 2 laps of a 5km course and a respectable 1 HR 16 min for actually 11 km as it turned out to be 5.5 km laps. Only 19 min behind first lady so shows how tough it was!

    Parkrun this morning, fastest time this year, 28:28, followed by a 17 mile walk home with some jogging thrown in. Preparation for the north worcs way we are doing in July. 

    Then inhaled a Chinese takeaway as so hungry!

    Nevermind what the cake looks like, Hazel, it's the taste that matters. And 11+ miles early doors is decent.

    Lots of cross training here: am going to repoint a patio but need to get the old mortar out first. Wish I had never started!
