I'm interested in dipping my toes (so's to speak) in the world of adventure racing but have no idea of how to get involved or clubs to train with. Can anyone help me out with advice or point me in the right direction?
A group of us from the forum are going on the training weekend in June organised by Trailplus (www.trailplus.co.uk) why don't you join us. If when you book you mention us on here you will get a £20 discount!
Have a look at Sleepmonsters.com its a dedicated adventure racing website with full calendar and a forum where newbies often pick up useful info and find team mates
Spans, Thanks, I did actually look at the Trail Plus website last week. How many people are going and have any of you had AR experience or will it be a new challenge for you all?
The man from Trail Plus returned my call on Friday and had a chat with him, seems like a nice guy......fingers crossed will see you in June.Although have just sold flat & moving, hopefully can divert any moving dates around this......i mean a gal has to prioritise doesn't she!

Come and join us... you know you want to!!
I'm also interested in AR - I've assisted a team - and helped other events. I've just booked the weekend also!
I'm also interested in the endurancelife events if anyone wants to put a team together ;-)
