I currently run in these shoes & they are great for my feet. But when I bought them I had no idea of heel strike, running type etc. Can anyone suggest a newer running shoe that is very similar?, doesn't have to be Nike.
Cheers, Was going to suggest that (as it was the obvious solution). But heard that they weren't as good as their predecessors. I'll give em a go. By the way, any idea of what type of shoes they are eg. for over pronaters?, flat footers? Chars,
if you go to nikebowerman.com you can get a pair tailor made with your name on them, they are called pegasus i.d. or if you go to jjb sports or somewhere like that you can still get the 2000 model. i think they(2000 model)are for people who are neutral runners.
I made the Adidas Footscan stuff with the Computer. It said I need a cushioned shoe and the saleswoman suggested the Pegasus 2002. I am happy that shoe.
I'm currently doing most of my road miles in Adidas Supernova Cushion and I love them. I rate them the best shoes I've ever had. I switched to these from Asics Nimbus and am so delighted with them I just bought a second pair. They are worth trying but the fit is small and narrow.
I was in the Sweatshop, where they have this system which checks, what kind of shoe you need. (You have to run without shoes over a plate, which is connected to a computer) I need a normal cushioned shoe, and they recommended the Pegasus, so it should be a cushioned shoe.

Thanks for all your ideas, just wish there wasn't so much on the market.
Might try the Adidas Supa Nov's.
