Morning!
Lyrics: Nothing can come between us,
When it gets dark I tow your heart away
Another job!
Yesterday's: Paperback Writer, The Beatles
What: not sure, but some running for sure
Why: helping at cross country. Ice on the cars this morning although there is bright sunshine now.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Sun now come out but feeling quite cold.
Lyrics no
V chilly and grey clouds at PR, now the sun has come out and it looks a lot better!
Enjoy the XC Ale, sounds like decent conditions for helping and running?
Great to see you parkrunning OH.
Oops to the bum mudslide Els.
Good luck with XC tomorrow Dustin. Nice to have a break and change of scenery.
Parkrun good today Wabo?
Chicksta is still missing, anyone also heard from Emzap recently?
What: longish run once the cake has finished baking. Will involve hills so will likely cut distance a bit and go by time.
Why: mileage
Next hard: the cake is wafting delicious smells out of the oven but worse case I won't get any as it is destined for a badminton tournament. Maybe leftovers.
Last rest: 8.11.23
Lyrics: no
Emz is regularly parkrunning, but not heard from her.
Nothing re Chick.
Well done at parkrun, Els and OH, for different reasons!
Hope the long run went well, Hazel.
Supermarket shopping then just over 30 minutes run before getting changed to go and help at the local cross country league. Six miles of standing water, thick mud or liquid mud: very glad that I was officiating. A couple more miles run and that was definitely hard work.
Had to scrape the windscreen this morning: -1 and a very heavy frost. Turned into a pleasant sunny day, though.
Well done on park running and marshalling oh and els, my mate had a bum slide last week too! Hope nothing hurts too bad
Ale busy day, well done for marshalling and getting your run in
Hazel it was an ok park run, legs tired tbh, hope your cake and run went well
What park run 34 mins, not long back from a long off road walk with oh as well, quite dark in the end
Why why not
Last hard that walk
Last rest 28 12
Football a bit meh today
Ale - decent running, XC conditions sounded good.
OH - solid PR
Els - you're hardly a part time runner!
Hazel - hope the longer run was enjoyable
Wabo - decent PR, the off road walk sounds good too
What - Hampshire League XC round 2
Why - We're hosting
Last rest - 21/09
last hard - today
It's our home match & I'm responsible for marshals. So on site from 9.45am to check course, sort bibs and walkie talkies.
Marshalled the first 4 races (U13s & U15s) then loosened up and ran the senior race (6.4miles).
Yesterday the course was pretty wet, but today it had largely dried out (soft, but little surface water). Oh and the sun shone ALL day. Only dampener was that a guy from our nearest (local 'rival') club keeled over in our race. Only alerted post race as the road and air ambulance arrived. Fortunately he was conscious on the way to hospital and his club's secretary has called and said that he's recovering (talking) in hospital. There is a reason our club support the county air ambulance service....
Not a brilliant run, but a solid enough effort.
Lyric - I think so
