How serious is the field going to be?

very serious i imagine.

especially as the target is to break the world record and especially as the record holder is meant to be taking part.

i don't think there are currently many similar events if any... and not frequently organised either.

even 24hr races take previous experience very seriously so i'd imagine they'd be looking for 24hr of multi-day stage races.

and no i'm not doing it... 400m track? 6days? indoors!... i'd love to have the kind of job & lifestyle that meant i could commit to this kind of thing.. but to do this would involve losing my job, my wife and my solvency.

to be honest i have no idea how tim is still married.

Just had a proper look at the website. £650 to enter and sooo many rules to follow. Doesn't look like fun, very corporate image. Someones out to make a few quid. Won't be doing this, plenty of other races about.
