See you all there on Sunday. I'm off to a work do all day and all night tomorrow, driving straight to the race, so won't be back online before then. I'm hoping to find you by recognosing the ones I know (so no one come in disguise, please!).
Thanks MC - wasn't aware of the 'non-transfer' rules....too lazy to trawl back through the thread! Will give it in on Sunday then! Good luck everyone...I've a rotten cold & working 8-8 tmrw which wasn't in my race plan needless to say!!!!
Just a note to say good luck to one and all for tomorrow. Remember pain is only temporary and that failure last's forever! Or at least till next time and you can try again! team meat and two veg will see you all out there. have a good night and see you at the start.
Turn left out of the GRIM entrance, follow road for about a mile taking the first left turning (I think it's sign posted Church Crookham) follow this road and the Forresters is on your right!!
Lovely to see you again those I saw! Sorry to have missed those I didn't.
A huge special thanks to Imelda, Fraggle and Jon for the support. And a tremendously big thank you to Fraggle for the mince pies afterwards. What an immensely civilised end to a totally uncivilised race!
I thought it was longer than last year. There was an extra little loop at the end that we missed last time, wasn't there? My time was 4 min slower than last year and last year I am very sure it couldn't have been 8 miles, more like a rather short 7 I thought.
Great race! I suspect I'll be back again next time.

I just did a teeny little 3-mile shuffle and my legs are like lead. So I can't imagine that they're going to work terribly well tomorrow.
OK? Any takers? A mere 132lb stripling, I am. I shan't wriggle. perhaps a modified back-pack?? Anybody?
Off road shoes best, road shoes second best.

Just a quick note to say goodluck.
