No problems, have fun
I have my assessment day on Sunday 27th.
This is a major achievment for me - I hated athletics at school- remember knocking the hurdle over with my hand to avoid jumping over it.
The courses are well structured,involve practical excercises and are taught in a 'modern way' -lots of time for reflection. The children in athletics course is also meant to be very good.
The courses have given my confidence in caoching my womens running network group and I have enjoyed meeting other coaches.
I say do it EP!
I've finished, photocopied and posted the last part
And just in time for Friday's submission deadline...phew, that's a relief!
Btw...you'll notice on the test graphs that the one for breathing rate is graduated wrongly. I tip-exed out the high numbers and replaced them with graduations of 10... ie. 10, 20, 30 etc
Is the book with the heart stuff in the last one? I've lost track as it has taken such a long tim eto get through them.
For me the book on heart / circulation will be the 4th book only
With the speed they go I'll be lucky to finish before Christmas!
Anyone get told off for being late, or are they happy to let us take as long as they do?
Was confused by having to apply again for ft2 pt2
have been shooting through the assessment logbook for U4 Body in Sport book 1 (body systems) - the one on bones and muscles.
Have now arrived at the last 2 questions 1.15 and 1.16 and can't really see what they want...
They're the questions on "compare" and "critically analyse" "the functions of the joints and muscles predominantly used in distance running and describe their (long term) effects on movement patterns"
I can't see what more to say (based on the original book) other than once again:
- identifying the muscles and joints
- describing what they do
Surely describing the function is the same as describing their effects on movement patterns?
What about the long term bit in the 2nd question?
And critically analyse....?
As the whole logbook so far has been little more than reordering info from the original I'm not sure what they are looking for here...
Sorry for the long post but I'm a tad annoyed that I've got a blind spot here as I wanted to get this finished tonight
