S-Caz, you want to try a river swim in our local one. You'd do about 35 miles in that time and have to be rescued from the far side of the Severn Bridge.
I've not been a good boy with food this evening, but that's not for the want of trying. Afternoon tea was some lovely shortbread, and a fairy cake. Then it was off to swimming, and a direct drive off to the hotel in Pembrokeshire. I tried to stop for something healthy like fish & chips, but couldn't find anywhere open. Tea has therefore been a pack of biscuits and a watery hot chocolate.
At least the body mass is reducing. I saw 12-0 on the scale after my morning run.
Foodwise I have been very bad today, which isn't good on all fronts.
Running, I ran an easy 9 miles this morn, so very pleased with myself. I want to take Mr. garmin out so I can actually find out where I ran on the map. I'm a bit anal like that.
I wish I could swim in a river but my Raynaulds would never allow that. 5 mins max and I'm frozen.
Wish I could eat choc brownies without feeling guilty or gaining 3 stone in weight. I need to kick start my metabolism again.
Morning, Well done all those who went out and trained yesterday.
I did 10 miles this morning followed by my monthly check-up. Second month running with no weight loss but definite change in body shape. BP was a little raised but as i had just finished a 10 mile run she wasn't too bothered by that.
Bimble and swimble today. the sun is shining but there is a chill breeze, so I'll be the one in T shirt and gloves.
Weighed myself and I'd gained another 2lb. I am def going on a diet - a proper one - not that I know how to diet. I shall try keeping a food diary again.
I am sad as I don't know what happened. I used to be so good at not eating. I could easily not eat junk and biscuits and bread and crisps and pastry. I guess I got fed up with avoiding all the nice stuff. Perhaps I can go back to not eating the calories but allow myself a weekend treat. That used to work.
of course I'm hoping that I'm just eating too much, a food diary will help. I don't want to find out that I've got massive fibroids again. I'm good at those.
I'm changing shape but not losing weight. I think my wrists and face look slimmer. My PT thinks my waist is slimmer. Shoulders are definetly getting bigger.
T mouse, 2 lb is neither here nor there. You can lose that in a hot and sweaty night. If you're really paranoid you'll be weighing yourself at least four times a day: morning, evening, before and after a run.
I'm fully expecting to change shape. The skinny bloke in the picture has a stomach that he's working on, and the swimbling will no doubt be adding bat wings. The biking has woken up the tree trunk legs, but they're not back to marathon legs. Muscle apparently weighs more than fat. I saw 12-0 on the scales, (did I mention?) but that will be up now.
SCaz: you look fantastic T Mouse, my motto was always that I ran in order to eat, therefore I could eat whatever I wanted to as long as I had a calorie balance.
And now. Run? Or digest tea? (aka doss out in front of computer)
Good Morning. I have runned. It was hard going but then when you consider my total mileage last week was less than 20 miles and I have run that in the past 3 days, plus swimming and cycling it's no wonder. Rest day tomorrow which comes in the guise of a 12hr shift at work. So that won't be fun.
I have a real craving for marmite on toast, which means that I need to bake aloaf of bread.
If I am absent today then that is good as it means I'm in the garden. Yay for sunshine.
I need to take a leaf out of my own book and do some flexibility exercises.
Dinner was a variation for us. In good old Ready Steady Cook fashion we had a few bits and pieces of part used ingredients and leftovers. Sounds appetising, yes? The usual approach is risotto on a Tuesday. Wifey said that we had a few coriander leaves. Aha! This led on to a Thai green curry, with the addition of dried Kaffir Lime leaves, real lime, coconut block reconstituted, chillies, and appropriate spices. A nice change.
Great one CP, I've been investing in the Severn Bridge. You'd think so, the number fo toll fees I've paid. I also think that I've got a cold coming on. Bliddy kids.
Comments
I'm sure she'll be pleased by that as well.

Any choc brownies left ? * looks hopeful*
I could do with a brownie too.
Great river swim today. 3.5 miles completed, in 1:45, tidally assisted

*mwah* Blisters.
You don't look half bad yourself
Which half?
The half that I can see silly. You've never taken your clothes off for me.
>>OO<<
Morning! The sun is shining and today I am going to be in a positive mood whatever crap gets thrown at me. Who's for tea and coffee?

Ah, memories.
Swimbled today. Little and often.

Mmmm Thai green curry ..
Another beautiful day here, I think I will walk to the gym and enjoy the sunshine
Sounds great Blisters,
Took advantage of the good weather this morning and did a 5 mile run to work, including 5 reps of 2min sprints with 1min recoveries.
Great way to start the day.
Great one CP,

If I can lose 2 lb in a hot weaty night I should be fading away by now
Who said that?
