Tubs, There is no answer to that. Reminds me of the joke...why dont gypsies use contraceptives ?? Answer. Theyve got crystal balls ,and can see when they are coming. HAHA
Shades, Good luck in Ireland, hope its a bit warmer than when I was out there. ABW will see you at Taunton, although will wait and see if i survive Teignbridge first...one step at a time as they say.
The 2 photos that I ordered only Saturday afternoon arrived yesterday. They're good quality and seeing that they're in mounts they're not bad value at £7.50 each - I've had much worse from other races.
See you on Sunday rp & RR. Good luck in Ireland, Shades.
Dunnarunner. Good to hear that you are pleased with your photos. Mel is a local guy in Newquay who covers many of the races in Cornwall for the Cornish Guardian newspaper. His wife is a member of the Newquay Roadrunners, so I shall pass your comments on to her at the club tonight.
dunrunner , did the mount have any reference to the race or was it a plain mount? I'm going to order one but i'll have it framed with the medal so I won't want the mount i expect !
The mount does have the photographer's name on it rather than the race name & date, which would have been a nice touch, but probably would have bumped the price up a bit. You can always take the photo out of the mount it comes in and fit it into one of your own design.
