Right hair done (as you can tell I really take my time over it - not!).
Must go in a mo. If you find a pub SP, then could you text me and we'll sort stuff out from there and if you could post pub and times on here, that would be great.
I won't be on again before the race, so good luck all, and I'll try and get my bunny and name up on my back, but I'm not very creative and may bodge it up!
I'll have my URWFRC vest on though, black running tights, black cap and maybe my long sleeve black top on after my vest, but the jury is still out on that.
See you all tomorrow, weather today great, dry, calm and glimpse of sunshine, just a bit chillier. Lets hope it lasts until tomorrow lunch time at least.
I am meeting some others from my running club at the Jog shop stand will then progress to the pier.
Wearing team realrunner vest (ssshhh) over t-shirt and black leggings, I think!!!
Sorry that I didn't get to the pub as I said I would; got to the car and checked the moby and had to rush back home. Great to finally put the faces to the names. See you soon.
Hello and apologies to all. My 'people' were in a terrible hurry and now that I've just arrived back in London I find that I have only 1/2 hour before I have to dash to dinner and theatre.
I should have met you all before the start because I really didn't know what to do - was almost going to run in the wrong direction.
I did see Pernickety Butt, though, who finished just a few places in front of me.
I forgot my watch (and my 'running socks') but my friends said the official clock said 42 minutes but I don't know how many seconds. But it's a PB and I'm pleased.
Sorry for such a long message and sorry I didn't meet any of you yet.
Hi benz, was looking out for you but must have missed you somewhere, Hoped I`d see you at the pub. How did you do? I broke the hour,59:31, so I'm chuffed and already planning to shave a few more seconds off next time!!
WELL DONE SP Persoal worst for me(68.07, by my watch), which is odd as i had no walk brreaks for the first time ever Hubby wouldnt let me go to pub, but it Was a long journey back great to meet you at last, and well done again
Well done Benz for hanging in there, I did see you near the turn. Something made me look at the back of your tee-shirt!!! There is always a next time, we can't all be great all of the time. :-)
