I noticed this evening that one of my shoes (Asics 2090) is squeaking. Is this a sign that they are wearing out? I've only done about 200 miles in them. The noise is coming from the just under the heel (where the 'gel' logo is).
It may be totally unrelated, but my left knee (its the left shoe that squeaks) has been a bit sore during the last couple of runs.
I was planning to run a marathon in them in 11 days - should I be rushing out to get new shoes?
Advice please.
Thanks.
(PS with new Thorlo socks I'm going to change my name - toes no longer sore!)

A new pair shouldnt be that different from your "old" ones with only 200 miles on the clock. Dont be tempted to buy another model though. Stick with the 2090's. They are an excellent shoe and if you've already established they're the ones for you dont let the annoying defect in your current pair put you off.
I'm feeling anxious enough about my first marathon without additional worries!
