am hoping for no funeral - although bridegroom is getting wed for the first time at 46 - but yes, there is a Ceiledh
at one point Thin Spouse was threatening to hire a kilt, but luckily he never got round to it so it's the Paul Smith suit and a slim fit Lindeberg shirt
just looked on another plodding website, someone looking for a running partner, saying she is "slow" - she plods 10km in 60 mins, thats not slow in my book, thats speedy :-0
morning Yeo not decided yet whether to take my outfit to the nail shop so they can choose the design - they always whine at me for not knowing what I'm wearing
Hope the wedding goes well Flr. I personally like a man in a kilt.
Day off form work today and running club tonight so am toying with the idea of touching up the skirting boards.
Ran with a YOUNG man on tuesday. Arranged it through running partners.com He was 18 years my junior so i was a bit sceptical but it actually worked out really well he's fast but can't do the distance (hehe) the most he had run was 1 1/2 miles.
And i'm slow but can go for hours (hehe again) I think we both got something out of it cos i pushed myself whilst be seemed to be hardly moving and not out of breath in the slightest but managed 5 miles. It remains to be seem whether he ants to run with me again tho
<gets hot flush thinking about how splodge's post could have turned out>
Morning.
Waas expecting to be posting from home adn being good writing person but fired up home PC to realise that I hadn't bought the relevant files home. so, trekked into work and will now proceed to make it worth my while to be here.
however, I have managed to hoover the front room, stick the stinky sleeping bag form hell in the washing machine and write a to do list all before that so i'm obviously on a roll today.
Just wish my back wasn't so stiff still
Oh, and I need to ask Melsie a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION
Melsie - Do you get tat at the end of triathlons? i only race for tat as everyone knows. No tat, no race
Morning all, Played Quaser yesterday, I came last in all three games got shot more than I hit people..............
Puff in answer to your question - Tat yes. In my first race a medal, in my second a water bottle. Which was disapointing at first, but means I can parade it in work and down the gym! Plus goody bags..............
Yet to catch up on yesterday's filth - will save that for later when it gets dull round here.
My mission to get online at home is being seriously hindered by bl**dy ntl being bl**dy useless as usual - all they have to do is stick a bl**dy disk in the post - but no! They can't even manage that!
Pink, i sympathise bl**dy aol arent much better, if ihear that stupid woman say "goodbye" in that cheery little voice, as my intenet connection is lost for the umpteenth time when ive only just got connected i may have to go and rant at the rabbits again!
morning, first night off of night duty and slept like a dead slug! (hubby said i looked like one as well!!)
hope all are well, and enjoying the last day of sunshine before the rains come again

yesterday's fridge bears did have me confused, but thats not hard to do!
Scottish wedding sounds good Flr. I have visions of 4 Weddings and a Funeral with all the Scottish dancing!!
at one point Thin Spouse was threatening to hire a kilt, but luckily he never got round to it so it's the Paul Smith suit and a slim fit Lindeberg shirt
Paul Smith suit and slim-fit Lindeberg skirt sound wonderful!
I just reread last nights final page, and was it any wierder than usual?
anyway, hope you enjoy getting your nails and hair done, flr

yes most of us are aiming for a 60 min 10k
morning Yeo
not decided yet whether to take my outfit to the nail shop so they can choose the design - they always whine at me for not knowing what I'm wearing
can hear the knell of doom aka the descant recorder downstairs - better go do the mummy thing
recorders at 8am!
yeah, well I USED to be able to do 10km in 70 min, but its probably been a year since I tried that distance, so it would be worse now
mind you, I've entered an 8km race in 5 & a half weeks (to follow the 4km in 10 days), so guess I'd better start increasing the distances!!
have a good day all :-)
Must go and have blood pressure checked this morning - should have gone a couple of weeks ago.
German this afternoon and running club this evening.
Busy day.
Hope the wedding goes well Flr. I personally like a man in a kilt.

I remember in my distant past as a young man going fast but being unable to do the distance

Mr. Puff said he would not wish to compete even in a novice tri.
unless one of the events was propping the bar up.
