4 photos arrived here this morning (2 of which look identical to me!).
Iluvmud, the Grizzly entry form also goes up on the AVR website on the same day as the Seaton Half. Wondering if I should do Seaton Half or not (but 2 laps road is a big psychological no-no for me...).
Definitely doing Cub next year but will try and get training in and asthma well under control to try Grizzly. Will see how things are by September...
Hilly - there certainly are places left for the Bunny; you can either enter online - or save the £1.50 and print an entry form off our website www.yeoviltownrrc.com and send it to me; you can then collect your number on race morning. M.
Snap - it's the 5 Tors Moorland Run at Minions, nr Liskeard at 10.30am on 3rd April. They are taking on the day entries and as the limit is 300 I wouldn't think they have reached it - organisers details are on RW events page, probably best to check. I haven't done it, but it's described as "hilly" which I suspect might be a bit of an understatement!
Sorry to jump on the back of the old Grizzly thread folks, but does anyone fancy running the 6-mile off-road Killerton Kanter race near Exeter in June? Entry forms can be found at www.swrr.co.uk My club organises this one, but with only six or so weeks to go, we've only had ten entries! It's never been a profitable race, so this year could well be it's last Go on - you know it makes sense!!!!
lluvmud, have you considered taking entries online via runners world? As a race organisor, I can personally vouch for the system with 40 or so entries this year in our own 10k race
Snap, I was thinking about doing that for the Drogo race that SWRR organise, as we're doubling the entry limit for that one by popular demand! The Killerton however is such a small low-key event that I doubt it's worth it. How many entries do you tend to get for your 10k? - the Killerton is only about 120. (sorry to everyone else on this thread - this must be very boring!)
lluvmud, we had around 260 entries in the 10k this year, including the 40 online entries. Last year we had 23 online entries and in our 20 miler that the club organises we have had 27 online compared to just 3 last year, so online is definitely getting more popular.
