I handed mine over when I collected my number at the Expo. They didnt even look at it. It could of been my council tax bill for all they know.

I've just had one of those conversations with a colleague. You know the type "when's the marathon then" "Week on Sunday" "you're mad" "Yep" "When's the next one" "Well, if I don't get in to London, I'll do Paris or Lochaber" "Why not do all 3?"

Good luck with Brussels Tiny Tia ...Id really like to know how it goes. I was considering Brussels but its in between BLNM & Amsterdam (date not physical location) That would be barking Nessie. But it was only £30 return from Prestwick.

Sadly, as Kiwichick has mentioned, after 5 years here, I am heading back to NZ - only a week left in England!

I had such a GREAT time in Paris -I ENJOYED the whole race and atmosphere ! Not to mention meeting all the lovely forumites! I would never have got to the start line in Paris without the support of the forumites on the training and the event thread, so for you first timers - enjoy!

I will keeping up to date with how all the training is going from a warm summery NZ, and will log on to runners world after a light run along the beach just a block from my house... I hope to see some of you in NZ for a marathon perhaps??

Is a very good one to do. Just need to watch out for the runners running with dogs and the spectators who throw themselves in front of runners in an effort to cross the road NOW instead of waiting! Oh, and the banana-skin / cobblestone combo at feed stations can be a bit tricky... I ran it in 2003 and I'm definitely thinking about it again for 2005 if I've no luck with the FLM ballot.
