Hi all. Need some advice please. Whilst leaping gazelle-like over a swollen beck yesterday, I landed funny and hurt my lower back. I felt as if it compressed somehow and it was immediately painful. It was certainly a jarring type of injury. I completed the race and as the race wore on, my back became less painful and more free. It was fairly uncomfortable for the rest of the day however.
When I woke this morning, I could hardly get out of bed and unless I keep moving about, it seems to stiffen anew.
I suspect, if I run, like yesterday, the stiffness should ease but my question is, would I be silly to do this or should I give my back a complete rest?
Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty miserable today so any help would be much appreciated.
