Popsider, they had a season in the premier league in the 2000s, which ended a 19year gap.
But they've been in the prem since 09 now...so a decent little run. About time they went down though as they add nothing! Could do with Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton all going too!
Yes I knew they'd been up and down and back up - wasn't sure of the years. Trouble with the Prem is apart from maybe 2-3 teams with massive support (Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal) and then a couple more with very rich owners (Chelsea, Man City) nobody has any chance of being competitive.
The gap between a club who would average 30-35 in the Prem like say Derby, Forest etc and say a Wigan or QPR who would average a fair bit less isn't insurmountable if you have a good manager and a well run club - the financial gap between Derby or Forest and the likes of the Manchester clubs or even a Liverpool and is massive.
You start to think what is the point of getting promoted if the most you can hope for is mid table security. You get a year or maybe two when staying up is success - but where do you go beyond that ?
What an amazing weekend of mixed emotions for me as a Killie fan. Managed a wee run on Sunday before the game with my 25 year old Killie top. Interestingly any Celtic fans I saw laughed at me probably not thinking we had any chance of beating them! After a magnificent performance Killie beat Celtic only to be deflated by the passing of Liam Kellys father immediately after the game. A fine victory for Killie but thoughts with the Kelly family at this difficult time.
Just had a look on youtube at this Eden Hazard a lot of clubs are chasing - no idea what his all round game is like but going forward he looks amazing.

Well played Chelsea tonight, good game felt sorry for Drogba for all those bangs on the head.
Nah, draw either Barca or Real in the Q/F and go out!
Glass 1/2 empty view this season.
Can ManUre and Chitty turn it around tonight I wonder??
DUtch: Sounds about right...
Bilbao looked good. City left it too late.
