Dutch: Not really bothered. Thing is you get to see tehe old footage of past Championships eg 1984 France with Platini, 1988 Dutch sucess with Van Bastens goals. 1992 The unexpected Danish success etc.
Not that much interest north of the border then! Still not got much of a history this is one I suppose.

I don't get how they can qualify Stevie G. If they win and Denmark lose, they'll be on the same points. The placings are then decided on the head-to-head records of the two countries and, as Denmark beat Holland, surely Denmark should finish above them??

I was pondering this today.
But the answer is if there are 2 teams on joint points, head to head kicks in.
If Denmark lose, and Holland win, there will be 3 teams on level points, all of which have beaten each other...therefore, you can't decide it on head to head...
Denmark did beat Holland, but then Portugal beat Denmark, and Holland would have beaten Portugal...
Therefore goal difference would kick in...

I prefer goal difference anyway....
goal difference makes it easier...but then can be beholden to a freak goal haul...whereas head to head is fairer as you can't complain when you've lost to that team
I also prefer the goal difference to decide.
As it turned out it was irrelevent.
If only Bendtner had been given a pen for Denmark.........
I'd like to have seen Croatia go through.
