Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt."
Now you can intellectually handle the situation.
Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt and O. Schitt.
Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, a partner of Kneedeep &. Schitt Inc.
In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt, and the deeply religious couple produced 6 children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins: Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.
Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced.
Noe Schitt later married Mr. Sherlock, and because her kids were living
With them she wanted to keep her previous name. She was known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.
Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt and they produced a nervous son, Chicken Schitt.
Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding.
The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new bride, Piza Schitt.
So now if someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt", you can correct them. Not only do you know Jack, you know his whole family!

doh!
You wouldn't get that sort of thing on Tritalk.
you obviously haven't been on there lately. There has been quite a bit of "FUN" on there in the last few days - but thankfully it is all happy families again.....
.....Good night John Boy.
....."serious athletes" !!!! ...then what the #~{} am I doing on there. I assumed it was all talk.
You don't belong on Tritalk, leave at once or I'll out you as having a sense of humour.
Very nearly - only the location needed to be sorted, but thankfully the parties involved were sent to bed early and told to reflect on their respective views. It was fun though. It was a bit like when your kids are really naughty and you tell them off and send them out of the room - but as soon as they are out of sight you laugh your head off, because it was brilliant and reminds you of your own youth.

I think they are already onto me, I might have to be a little more discreet, particularly now that I realise a lot of what is said in there is serious and not in jest.....I think I have been guilty of misreading many a post...... ;0)
A flaming thread on Tritalk, point the way there - I could do with an afternoon nap.
Cant remember the name of the thread - but it was the one on General closed down by TT and discussing Mr Lessing. It is an entertaining read and probably would be more so to you as you might well know the participants better than I do. However, whilst it was great to watch I think closure of the thread was a wise decision bearing in mind the usually harmonius nature of Tri. It never got to fisticuff, but there were threats of "meeting behind the bike shed after school" kind of thing.
