i'm staying the night before, but i'm from portslade anyway, so will stay with my dad. Looking forward to this now, having an easy week to try and get good time. Hope the weather is ok though.
My dad prob will do breakfast, but he only has tea, so not much use for me. He has also agreed to put up my friend who is also running. What you gonna be wearing dips? I will keep my eye out for you to see if i recognise you from portslade. I'll be in my urwfrc t-shirt i think.

N, I will let you know my number later on. It would be nice to meet you at Concorde 2 if you can make it there before the start. However, if you feel the food is too much to carry to the ten mile mark we will just see you there!
I'll be looking for a red fleece at 10 miles too Normski. Can't remember my race number, and not sure what I'm going to wear yet (depends on weather obv), but will try and post tomorrow from home.
I'll have a forerunner on and look like I'm suffering probably!
I'll be wearing my urwfrc t shirt, no 2336 so do say hello Normski. I hopefully won't need any jb's, but may need the encouragement, this is my first race since breaking my toe!
I'll also be wearing my URWFRC vest (probably over a long sleeved Helly 'cos the forecast looks very cold)......can't remember my number though.........
I'm easy to spot...big bloke, very short hair, old, slow, face like a bulldog licking pee off a nettle...........
Well I'll be guaranteed a PB as long as I finish coz I aint done a Half Marathon before. This is part of my training for FLM, seemed to be a better idea than running 14 miles on my own, also doing Cranleigh 15/21. So far raised over £3,000 for Shooting stars childrens hospice ...If...sorry ...when I complete FLM my target is £5240.
Anyway I'll see you all there will post race number later.
FB - 'scuse me for being dumb - but what does "URWSRC" stand for?
Gritech - good luck for Sunday- you definately won't be on your own!! - Cranleigh is a nice friendly run as well - did that last year for FLM preparation
a wave at 10 miles (or anywhere to teell the truth) for a slowly 217 would be good...now the nerves are starting to set in....daughters comment of 'never mind daddy, if you fail we'll still love you' didn't seem to help somehow...
Don't worry slowly worm, I'm sure you'll be fine! If you run really slowly say hello to me. I'll be at the back of the pack doing 5 run, 1 walk until about 1pm...
Comments
between mile 10 & 11 at about 2 hours as well
I assume you do all day breakfasts??? don't want to spoil my run now..........
A pom pom wave will be good enough for me N! Without looking at the course, where is 10/11 miles, Marina?
I'm heading down for the weekend, any place to be recommended for drinks and/or dinner?
It depends where abouts you are staying really. Loads of places to choose from.

which means the Unofficial Runners World Forum Running Club...........
motto - virtual club, real runners
it's the Forum running club but is unofficial as there is no constitution etc......
