Up early trying to find a contact number for the woman I am meant to be meeting at 9 am. I have sent her a mail explaining why I have to re - schedule , but if she is anything like me ( is editor of childrens paper so probably nothing like me ) then she`ll read it next week.
Oldest Hoover spewing all night. Youngest Hoover coughing all night so might keep him home too.
Yesterday's grumpy mood was vastly improved by two very simple things:
1. Stuart Maconie was doing the Drivetime show on Radio 2 (oh how I beamed when I got in the car to go home, switched the radio on and heard his wonderful Northern tones)
2. His special guest was Paul Heaton from the Beautiful South.
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven.
However, this morning's impromtu meeting with Big Boss has convinced me I am actually in a living hell.
I'm back from classes to go and visit physio. I had to change appointment yesterday, because I found out that tomorrow my class is going to visit some firm. Luckily I have classmates that remember such things for me.
Pink I went shopping with a friend on Saturday and I bought two bags. Neither have hoover on but one does have a very colourful peacock. And the other rather a lot of gold and beige sequins.
This year is fun in class. Very nice people. We laugh a lot and most of us like to go out and have a good time. Not like the group I was last year in. A group where you have those people that work so hard, they don't have time for anything else.
Was hoping Mr H would buy me the coat for my birthday, which he agreed to on the phone, once I got home however he started mumbling about how it all comes out the same pot anyway ( which it doesn`t ). So looks like I am buying my own birthday pressie this year.
I would like new shoes, my mum brought some grey silk from India. I also go 2 scarves, one in cashmir and one in silk again. I haven't seen them, but my sister says they look lovely.
So now I will get a fancy suit with throusers and a nice top. With some luck it's ready by christmas or New Year. But I really need new shoes to go with it
some don't even get remarkle points. Some need to work this hard just to pass. I don't understand them. What's worse is that some of them are really stupid and take a lot more time to understand something, then I do.
But then I don't like working to hard. I just start complaining really soon
One of the girls who works that hard is my eyes starting to look to thin. She was thin, but I think she lost some more weight. I guess she forgets to eat sometimes, even if she lives at home

Ah well.
Am going to plod tonight.
Big Boss sounds truly horrid. Any chance you could find something else ?
You know my feelings about Big Boss!
Bought the bag by the way - not sure its a bit of an "I love me" scenario - but then most people don't know my AKA
Hope meeting isn't that bad

So totally essential purchases then...
We had a great time but as well as the 2 bags we also bought coats and shoes. Oops.
Was fun though and we both needed a coat...
At least I got what I wanted.
Doesn`t sound like a healthy way to spend your time. What happened to those people ? Did they skip a year ?
sound like a lovely shopping day

Sas - only very dull people work to the point of excluding everything else.
Hoover - make him buy you something else. Then you have two presents.
