Is there anyone out there with a copy of the UK Athletics rule book to hand please?
The Oldbury 30 to be held in January 2005 says that UKA Rule 216(6) will apply, but I haven't been able to find out what it is.
I've tried emailing UK Athletics, and another forumite has tried emailing the race organisers. No responses so far.

Thanks LNSFW, that's what I tried. No response to the email, and the phone number has been discontinued. I tried the new phone number on the UKA home page and got Bill's answerphone saying he is on holiday.

As Candy says, keep your worm in your pants and you will be ok
The rule states:
"A runner whose entry is accepted after the published closing date may at the discretion of the Promoter:
i) Not be eligible for any individual prize.
ii) Not be eligible as a scoring team member in a team race.
Hope this clears it up.
Prizes - defitintely not applicable to me then!
