I'm recovering much quicker than I anticipated. My knee is much much easier today and I'm hardly limping. Hurrah!

This definitely won't be my last marathon. I think I shall try and get some 10k's and half marathon's in over the next few months and see if I can get into the FLM2006.

I keep telling myself I should be proud that I've finished a marathon but I cant help feeling disappointed with my time. I'm back in work this afternoon and although I know people will give me my sponsor money I just feel that they will think I should have run a faster time - is it normal to feel a bit of a failure??

Still on a massive high and can walk no problem. Quite hard to get back to real life though friends and work collegues have been so nice about it all. Told my Scott Hastings story about 25 times now !!

Legs starting to feel bit more normal now!! Straight after said I would never do another one, but that's wearing off now!! Doing EK half in 2 weeks time (provided I can walk again by then!!)

Well done all you runners, excellent effort on a horrible day - weather wise that is. Seen Donaldo at Cramond who looked like he was running well. And possibly Hotbot & pals on their bikes going along seaforth rd towards portobello!

Have a look at www.myrace.co.uk Their is about 20 pictures from the marathon posted on it. I think he's been keeping an eye open for local vests, but their is a couple of group shots as well

Also, do you know if I can somehow get a medal??? Don't know how it happened but I got a relay medal instead of the biggy! (Mind you I think it was my own fault - my friend who had finished about 5 minutes before me was waiting by the clock and I think I staggered into the relay runners area, totally disorientated - didn't get goody bag either silly cow. Didn't even notice the medal wasn't the right one until later on in the hotel!). What am I like??!!!

Katypie - Could I also avail of your kind services - Name isn't much of a secret obviously, although the race probably has 'Michael' - If they gave a time and place I'd be very interested in hearing what it was. I was about 2:48:30 or so by my watch.
