still feeling carp... Got stuck on th eM56 last night for an hour and by the time I got home the most I could do was watch cricket on tv..... sniffle, cough sneeze
Bunged up nose, fuzzy head and a tight chest... Ran OK in Delamere on Sunday morning, just struggled to breathe, It was The Dee Mile Swim last night and I had planned to cycle down into town, do a bit of supporting and cycle home... Ended up watching Durham v Derbys on the telly with a pot of coffee !
I'm planning on Manley tonight, But woken up with my shoulder all frozen... It's the one I landed on when I got knocked off my bike.... So not sure if I will swim or not tonight.....
It was a pleasure to meet you Dave. Steady 2k in OW and I am finally managing to be less hysterical about weed. Even swam in a straight line for 6 strokes but I haven't been a victim of dog-gate.
Spin planned later and I will be avoiding the Greenway and other highly dog populated areas.
Yes, Saturday. I have been metanlly re-jigging my timetable to get to the 1pm breifing. Looks like I will have to miss lunch with the kids at the wacky warehouse pub
Exactly, wacky warehouses make you do things like enter a long distance triathlon.
Although I do feel guilt as Saturday is my little boys birthday. Need to try and not be a completely selfish mother so will minimise my time faffing at HPP on Saturday.
Suppose I should have sorted out some kit last night and thought about packing..... Sadly I spent another evening watching cricket and enjoying a last low alcohol beer.....

Haven't been in here for a while (the forum, not this thread) and blimey, hasn't it turned into a place full of nasty corners??
L2P was awesome and I highly recommend it if you get the chance.
You take care Dave - you work long hours and do some crazy driving on the motorways. Don't underestimate that.
Hope all is on track for at the Outlaw, Holgs. I shall be there with Mum in a supporters capacity. She is over-excited to be camping out, bless her!
Would love to have a go... Sent TLS the link to the Paris marathon the other day as a hint I fancied going back !!!
Great turbo this afternoon, feel almost human (well as close as I can be)
Yeah Min's Mum in a sent... Has she got a "what ever that yellow thing is called" ?
Scrap the low alcohol beer... Break out the fizzzzzzzzzzzz
Annie just arrived home clutching a 1st in neuroscience... PHd here she comes...
She will be professor before we know it !!!
Brilliant news, many congratulations to Annie.
Ticking over Min, have a bike problem but other than that will be fine. Enjoy the camping. Well done on L-P
Morning Peeps...
Annie casually mentioned late Saturday night that not only did she get a first, But she came top in her neuroscience degree and wins a prize !
Spent Saturday in the wasteland helping Sprog 3 and his g/f move flat, only 3 flights of stairs at each end......
Gentle run round Delamere yesterday morning and then easy spin on the turbo to check the bike out after I had cleaned it yesterday evening.
Relaxing trip to Old Trafford tonight.....
That's brilliant news, Dave!
Cor Stranger on deck (and they don't come much........ teehee)
I thought I was the last Scouser standing (now that could be a book title)
Dave, brillaint news. Even more to celebrate in less than a week.
Manley for me tonight.
Eck 2 strangers on deck Teehee

I'd say not Dave.
Yup - I tend not to come in here much cos a lot of it irritates me and I keep up with you all on FB anyway!
The hassle is I can get this at work on my pc...... tadaaa
But I can only FB on the blackberry which is a pain and obvious in the office !!!
Morning Peeps
Managed a couple of very slow laps of Manley last night, struggled to stay in a straight line for some reason ?
And finally met MuffinTop...
Retired hurt with ibuprohen and a glass of merlot (just the one !)
Morning all,

yep all dogs are bad !
Yeah Good to meet up at last... See you Saturday

Always a positive in everything
I'll be up at HPP on Saturday morning, and hopefully going to register on Friday afternoon on the way to the pub for tea.
Meldy was trying to organise all the Pirates going to the 13:00 briefing... Might just be out of bed by then !
Will probably still be around, and then head back to the hotel after that to lie down and relax.
Just been looking at the 2010 results, reminding myself what I did and mentally getting ready to go faster, might work mentally if not physically.
