You guys won't believe this. I feel completely bloody miserable. (well, you'll believe THAT) but anyway... I've only got a kidney infection. Spoke to hippo who has ordered me back to the Doc (at 2:15pm yes, appointment already made thankyou)
Ooh nasty...........Try some whisky(medicinal purposes only of course)
Well I was up in the land of cheese over the crissy period and managed to get some miles in along the Goyt valley, lovely place to run I must admit. Loads of sheep sh*t
And can't drink whisky can I - makes me vomit don't it.... you've obviously not been following the flu progress Nicko - tried the whisky then, for medicinal purposes of course
anyhow thanks for cheering me up with your lovely tales of sheep sh!t whilst running (when I can't)
ha ha ha ... made me laugh that did. Get it on yer shoes didja..?
I'm up bright and early. Went to bed at 10pm last night... was knackered so up early today. Pity I'm not 100% 'cause would have been ideal time for running. Won't be about much today - got to finish marking these essays for tomorrow.
I've had a f*cking awful day. Started off... woke up from the dead of sleep - an hour and 10 minutes after I had obviously switched the alarm off myself (no recollection of this at all)....
.... consequently bounced out of bed in a mad rush. Jumped in the shower and nearly killed myself falling into the bloody thing. Then when I was trying to iron my new 'animal' fleece - scorched it with the iron. You can't really tell... but I can and it pi$$ed me off no end. Cost me £50 as a treat before Christmas that did....
...then to top the f*cking lot... got to work and some idiot had left the huge wheelie bin in the entrance to the car park. So, of course I turned into the car park, hadn't seen the bin and hit it... scratching the bumper of my 3 month old car
Don't think that camera is fixed FF, so much as turned off again!
and still had to find an alternative route into work this morning - road works on wavertree road (so business park was out) and road works down at the bottom of Mount Pleasant - bloody annoying. Ended up coming in through Speke which took a bloody age - why is it bus drivers drive like maniacs most of the time except between 7.30 and 8am..?
East Lancs tomorrow I think (although that means having to go past that blue ground. ugh!)
my fault for not venturing onto URWFRC often enough
"that blue ground" Cath? presumably you meant to say "that hallowed turf" ;-)
I'm driving to the ferry tomorrow - today for the 2nd day in a row Merseyrail cancelled the train I was trying to get from Meols. Might be fun if the storms are still raging tomorrow morning...
