Gary's suggestion unfortunately may find Capybra in court herself.
However a quick Google brought up this site, the Trident Personal Alam (£6.75) may serve a similar purpose if the ultra-violet tracer is accidently sprayed in an attacker's eyes.
Agree Wiz, I personally think you are better off 'tooled up' but to keep the CS gas as back-up.
Now what you are suggesting has got me thinking.
"This attack deterrent has been specially designed so that upon activation not only does it produce an ear piercing 138 decibel sound output, but it also releases a repelling odour and an ultra-violet tracer."
I do that for free, my work-mates have to put up with regular 138 decibel sound outputs and associated repelling odours from my ass :-)) now I just have to sort out the UV tracer.
Yep you can get them from your local Police station. I had to get some for myself and colleagues at work but because I had quite a few, they were £3.50 each. Not bad though for peace of mind! P.S. Dont set them off in a small room for a joke...I havent been able to hear for a month!!!
I have just ordered one from www.c-p-p.co.uk that you can wear as a watch. that is a good idea. i should probably carry emergency contact info with me as well.
Sure local police provide personal attack alarms from their approved list. These UK guys now supply direct to public - i used WE Alarms www.wealarms.co.uk and they do sprays plus keyring panic buttons too cheaper when i searched.

At least without it you can blame someone else or any passing skunk.
The local crime prevention officer should know about it if it is still running.
