Renewed my gym membership. Note to self - I must make better use of the gym this year.

How is everyone? Are you all surviving this horrible weather? Even the dogs ddon't want to go out. My knees and toes don't want to go out either.
The plodding is proving hard. Mileage is abysmal. I shall keep trying. It is bound to pick up eventually as the weight goes down. Still trying to cast off the Christmas pounds.
i managed a parkrun sandwich today. 18 miles, and rsn with the back runners at the park run and had a great and humbling time.

Speedy was on jury duty today. I wasn't called for todays case after sitting 2 hours in court. Not needed tomorrow but to call after 5pm tomorrow for Wednesday.

Evening all. Wild and windy up here. No plodding done this weekend. Speedy hangs head in shame as was well drunk on Friday night. Spent yesterday recovering and trying to work out how I got home.......oops.
How nice of you to remember limper. It is my birthday tomorrow. A really horrible one too. So far family have been nice and no cards with age on them.

Weight coming off again. Lost 7lbs over last 2 weeks

Just checked my bank account and payment to GNR has come out. Looks like I am running a half marathon this year.

I am mostly trying to do all the things I have to do on my day off whilst wearing a full set of waterproofs and swimming aids! It's hideous here.
