Thank you limper. Hope you are not getting too wet. This weather is awful and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.
Managed to get a 4 mile walk/plod in with Molly dog before the rain came on. My plods are really only a glorified walk but I am looking at the more I do and the more pounds I lose the glorified walks will turn into proper plods. Just waiting for the email to say I am def in GNR and they don't refund the payment as taken in error.
So that is my goal this year - the full Edinburgh moo walk in June then the GNR in September.
It's been awful weather down here this weekend so apart from regular drenchings at the stables I haven't had much exercise. Does three hours of digging out flooded stables count as 'not much exercise'?!
I'd like to actually arrange a whole suite on the ark Tippy as I have many pairs of creatures to bring with me. I'll bring cake in large quantities as well.
Horrendous night of storms at the lily-pad. We don't have the river floods but we do suffer the tidal surges and are very exposed to being battered by the gale force wind.
Hope you boys are both safe and dry? How is your area faring Speedy?
Evening all. Hope you are all faring ok down there. We had snow yesterday but it didn't last long. Today has been sunshine but a chilly wind.
Managed to fit in a miniscule plod.
Had a visit to the hospital with hubby. He had a reaction to the blood pressure tablets he was started on. He had to stop them immediately and to see his doctor asap.
As a 48 yo runner I have found myself with a belly for the first time in my life and its horrible.
I'm probably only a stone or so overweight and have actually run much more this year than last.
Any tips on how to target the stomach area for anyone in similar boat?I know there is lots of info online but actually there is too much!Anyone followed the routine from the RW lose that belly guidebook?
Have a 20 mile plod on Sunday with a large group of nutters.
All my boys and girls managed to start and finish Reading Half Marathon, it might have had something to do with Mr Eagle shouting at them from the side lines.
Hello all. Seems we have all been too busy to post this week. Hope you are all ok.
First visit to the borders and our caravan. It's been a lovely weekend. I am doing plenty of walking in preparation for the Moonwalk in June. Fri was 2.75 miles, Sat was 5.5 miles and today 6.5 miles. My thinking is train to walk the 26 miles of Moonwalk and should have the fitness to then turn walking into plodding for HER in Sept.

3.27 mile walk with Millie dog. Was meant to be a plod but Millie stops and sniffs every bush and tree and needs pulled along.
Well done Speedy. That is a good distance.
