13.5 mile run yesterday, not feeling bad today. May run again today, but the weather has gone back to 'orrible and windy - not that it was exactly dead calm eysterday - that was a revolting run.
can't decide weather to run tonight or not - ice bath was a great success, but arms (in particular biceps) are still bolloxed after body pump on Saturday.
Did far too much running at the moment and my next rest day isn't until friday... but if I keep running well who cares!??!... sorry had a great result at the surrey xc champs on saturday so am still grinning
Well... I came 17th in the Surrey champs and we won team gold (of which I was 3rd scorer!)... it was a fab day and I beat people in my team I never have before and was very close to someone who usually beats me hands down... thus the permanent grin (apart from during my 13.5m runn yesterday when I felt exhausted!)
I don't know bear, but am putting it down to the training I did last summmer and not giving up when I was injured... have now got a new programme from my club coach but am only on the second week of that so hopefully I will continue to improve...
I did a slow 6 miler yesterday, which actually meant I completed a full week of my marathon training plan - all of it, every run!
Tonight's "rest" will actually be badminton, but I may struggle to fit Tuesday's 5 miler in after dance classes, so I may do a couple of miles when I get home tonight.
Frags - that is great well done! Altho you missed that elusive 60mins, it sounds like you are really on target to get it next time.
Blimey Nessie it sounds like you have a full diary of training without the running! HOw far do you think you would cover in a dance class... ie could it count as cross training, if you add a couple of miles to the end?

Bit breezy here overnight too.
no run for me today - resting. Shall do pressuppy type things, I think.

Spansie - what did you do? Are they using that "win" word again?
Well done Spans!
I ache today after yesterdays 10k, and I'm off to the phys later to try and sort out my dodgy knee-and-hip combo.
Spans m'dear, can I mail you about some training plans sometime (ie when I've written it!) ?
lol!
I did the Stubbington Green 10k, in 62.21, which is an official PB by about 2.5 mins :-)
At halfway I was on course for the elusive 60 mins, then got stitch, and my knee started to seize up , so I'm rather pleased overall!!
Well done Spans!
