I have just bought some running tights and being a male and trying them on for the first time, they kind of show every bump if you know what i mean. Whats the best way to wear them with underpants or without?
They are very comfortable but can't help feeling a bit self-conscious.
I've graduated from Trackies to tights and am now into lycra shorts - Yes they do show up the bumps, but by the time I've got going I really don't care what others think. It also saves in chaffed legs and having to put on loads of vaseline. I wear tights with shorts and Lycra shorts without. Very comfortable, wish I had used them earlier!
Sinatra, As a laydee I would suggest wearing loose shorts over them if you are self conscious. I have seen several men running like this. It might look unusual, but it does cover the necessaries!
Especially when there is a high wind-chill factor I wear mens' running tights but with underpants/briefs underneath to keep me....secure!. I find that jogging and track-suit bottoms are to restrictive (specially when you've sweated a lot from a long-run) and I seem to overheat in them.
I agree with FB. Just ignore everyone else and focus on training.
